My hometown is Wichita Falls TX. I lived there for 35 years until I changed jobs and moved my family to The Colony, a suburban community north of Dallas. I'm a long time student of the Civil War and wrote a number of articles for Civil War publications and websites. I have a Bachelors Degree in History from the University of Texas at Austin. When I'm not working as a Tax Accountant,I'm researching for articles or doing volunteer work for the Texas Civil War Museum. I'm the proud parent of a college age son and daughter. My wife is from Burkburnett, TX and works at The Colony Library.
